PTBA Industry Member Spotlight: Naturaki

The PTBA would like to welcome one of our newest industry members — Naturaki. Naturaki specializes in holiday rental accommodation in the Costa Brava region of Spain. We asked Carme Vilà Pardàs about Naturaki’s reasons for joining the PTBA and about using our tool to connect with bloggers for a blog trip in the works for May 2015.

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself and your business.

I’m Carme the co-founder of Naturaki and I’m responsible for Customer Service, Marketing and Social Media. In my free time I love to travel alone or with some one else, I think both ways of travelling are totally different and enriching. In our company, we specialize in charming holiday houses around Costa Brava – Girona from 2 to 20 people. We are strictly focused on high quality houses, choosing each one personally, and while not “luxury”, our customers are upper-middle class people. We are also focused on the owners satisfaction ensuring a long-term business relationship. Our clients are generally families and middle-aged groups of friends.

2. Have you ever worked with bloggers before, and what was your experience?

We’ve just worked with bloggers receiving them in 3 of our houses during TBEX Girona, but we didn’t have a business relationship before now, when we decided to ask some bloggers to collaborate with our company with a blog trip.

3. How did you hear about the PTBA?

I heard about PTBA during a lunch with Laurence and Vera in their visit in the TBEX Girona. Since then, we have seen how the association has been becoming bigger and more professional.

4. What benefits did the PTBA offer that made you want to join?

As a company, for most of us is not easy to know which bloggers have more influence or which once are specialized in our market or business. Is great that there is an Association where you can find most of them grouped because like in all business, sometimes it’s difficult to find good professionals and when you belong to an Association makes us think that the blog is more professional and serious.

5. What were your impressions of the search engine?

I have to tell you that I was really surprised in how easy is to find the information. The information that is shown is really useful and well organised.

6. What do you want to get from your membership of the PTBA?

I want to easily contact with bloggers, know their work in progress and If they can be interested in my business and my region.

7. Would you recommend the joining the PTBA to bloggers or industry – and why?

Yes sure. As I mentioned before, when you belong to a serious and well organised Association it seems that you are serious. I also think the blogging industry is in its beginnings so it needs to be well organised. For industries I would also recommend to join the PTBA as you can easily find all the information you need to know to make any business and to know if a blogger interests you or not and also to be able to contact them easily.

8. What would you like to see the PTBA offering it’s members?

I think a Newsletter informing what the Association is doing, new members, new information shown, new services… could be interesting.

It would also be great that we could know if a blogger is in our country or not. I mean, I would like to know if someone is in Catalunya before seeing it on his-her Facebook.

If you’re a PR Firm or Travel Industry Company interested in joining the Professional Travel Bloggers Association, check out these benefits of PTBA membership. You can even get a 30-day free trial to test it out.
